How to Install Zipline Mod for Minecraft 1.7.3
Windows Installation :
1. Click on the Start Menu, then on Run
2. Type %appdata% into the Run Box
3. Look for .minecraft
4. Look for bin folder
5. CLEANING THE BIN FOLDER: Delete the bin folder. Next run Minecraft (MUST LOGIN) and accept the update. The new bin folder should appear in App_Data/.minecraft/. Open up bin folder again.
6. Right-click on minecraft.jar
7. Open minecraft.jar with 7zip, WinRAR, or Ark.
8. Open your mods with 7zip, WinRAR, or Ark.
9. Drag and drop the classes.
10. Delete META-INF Folder. This is crucial!
11. You’re Done!
Mac Installation :
1. Type in the following command line by line
- cd ~
- mkdir mctmp
- cd mctmp
- jar xf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
2. Don’t close the terminal yet, you should find a mctmp folder located inside your users folder
3. Go inside, copy all the files from the mod into mctmp folder
4. Back to Terminal.app, type in the following commands
- rm META-INF/MOJANG_C.*
- jar uf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar ./
- cd ..
- rm -rf mctmp
5. You’re done!
